Kettlebell training gets back to basic training that requires functional, whole body fitness. Kettlebells require you to focus on whole-body conditioning because lifting and controlling a kettlebell forces the entire body, and specifically the core to contract as a group, building both strength and stability at the same time. Kettlebell workouts engage multiple muscle groups at once. In this way, they are a great option for getting a whole body workout in a short time.
Unlike traditional weights, the unique design of the kettlebell makes it more challenging to use as its weight is offset from the grip. They come in various weights for all strength and fitness levels. A variety of dynamic and slow movements will improve functional all-round bodily strength, fitness and flexibility. You can burn up to 1,000 calories per kettlebell session making it the number one choice for those serious about weight loss and fitness.
Do women use Kettlebells?
We now train more women than men with kettlebells! Thanks to the likes of Kate Garaway from GMTV, TV's The Bigest Loser, Jennifer Aniston, Geri Halliwell and many others publicising their experience of training with kettlebells, kettlebell training is now becoming far more well known. There have now been articles in pretty much every magazine and newspaper and even on TV's This morning singing the praises of kettlebells.

Take Your Fitness and Fat Loss to the Next Level! High Intensity Interval Training involves short intervals of maximum intensity exercise separated by longer intervals of low to moderate intensity exercise.
In this high intensity class you will increase both your aerobic and anaerobic endurance while burning more fat than ever before.
Hiit is designed to:
- Provide an effective, whole-body workout
- Burn calories up to 24hrs AFTER training
- Torch up to 1000 calories an hour
- HIIT stimulates production of your human growth hormone (HGH) by up to 450% during the 24 hours after you finish your workout.
HIIT training, also known as high-intensity interval training, is an exercise strategy that alternates between intense short periods of anaerobic exercise and less intense recovery periods. Each intense exercise period is to be performed at near maximal intensity while recovery periods are designed to recover heart rate. HIIT training has a wide variety of scientifically proven benefits.
Why Hiit training is the BEST to burn fat
Fitness experts used to believe that a steady state of cardio was the key to fat loss because more fat is used as fuel for the body at lower intensities compared to higher intensities.
At high intensities, like HIIT training, you burn far more fat, even though the fat/glycogen ratio is lower. Training in intervals at high intensities allows the body to have highly productive intense rates for much longer periods of time compared to a steady state.
There is an afterburn effect seen in HIIT training, especially when combined with resistance lifting, in which there is drastic increase in ones metabolism which can continue to burn calories for up to 24 hours after interval training, whereas normal cardio burns almost no calories after.
Legs Abs Booty
Legs, abs, and bums...the worst parts of your body when it comes to shifting fat. But don’t worry, help is at hand – our legs, abs and bums fitness classes are a fun filled way to help tone up those wobbly bits you love to hate.
Our original LAB Class targets just those areas! If you want to change the shape of your legs butt and tummy, this is the class for you. With a combination of basic body weight exercises, some light weights and band work, you will see results without realising you have just trained your legs and abs like never before. We believe this is an important area because big muscle groups burn big calories!
Is it for me?
Legs, abs and bums is great for people who want to lose weight, being a top calorie burner while targeting those tricky areas. It is also great for those who just generally want to get fit and raise their stamina with some aerobic exercise. So whether you are looking to shape and tone or just get stronger legs, you need LAB!
Strengthen your core and flatten your tummy with one of our hard CORE classes which focuses on strength, flexibility, balance and core, our classes will whip your abs into shape.
Our hard CORE class is a dynamic and challenging 60 minute class designed to strengthen the core while incorporating the entire body and increasing endurance, flexibility, strength and power.
What is your Core and why should I train it?
What is meant by "the core" is the successful inner teamwork of many systems in your body, all of them originating at centre mass - the torso area. We are talking about the muscles of your lower back and spine, the Transverse Abdominis muscle behind your "six-pack", the obliques and other supporting muscles, the circulatory and neurological systems that power these muscles with fuel and instructions, and many more muscles and tissues that all work together as a unit, collectively being called "the core".
